A downloadable game for Windows

I'm back with a new project!

This is a very early prototype so a lot of features don't work properly, sorry.

The idea of the game is to be a Civilization clone in the modern era with weird political factions instead of civilizations.

It is meant to poke fun at various ideologies and not be super serious but let me know if anything is too edgy.

As it's still early in development I'm open to all sorts of ideas and suggestions!

The current build has:

  • 4 playable factions but their differences are not fully fleshed out yet
  • randomly generated maps (very basic, you could spawn in unplayable locations)
  • 3 different map scripts with Highlands being the most tested one
  • AI that's somewhat competent and 4 difficulty levels (ranging from no AI cheats to insane cheats) The first difficulty level is really weak on purpose, the second one is normal.
  • Up to 8 players (AI or human, no mix)
  • Early sketches of the different leaders
  • Early drafts of some unit sprites (NATSOC spy is the only one that is animated)
  • Early draft of the tech tree (some techs dont work)
  • City screen that lets you assign citizens and build
  • Unit combat and some unit abilities

Currently it's made for 2560x1440 so other resolutions will look a bit stretched, will fix that soon

I'm interested in hearing your opinions on:

  • Research Tech Tree
  • City building
  • Unit combat
  • Faction differences
  • UI and controls
  • How zoomed in should the game be by default

What features do you want to see?

  • How many factions should there be on release? are there any specific factions you want to see?
  • What would be considered too edgy? Whats the limit
  • Do you want diplomacy to be a big part of the game? What diplomatic options do you want?
  • How would you make the earlygame/exploration more fun?

Thanks!

  • Deselect with right mouse button
  • Attack with right mouse button (you need to be in range)
